This page contains the terms & conditions. Please read these terms & conditions carefully before ordering any products from us. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

By placing an order at One Dotty Duck, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or have parents' permission to buy from us) and accept these terms & conditions which shall apply to all orders placed or to be placed at One Dotty Duck for the sale and supply of any products. None of these terms & conditions affect your statutory rights. No other terms or changes to the terms & conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing signed by us.

Personal Information
All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by One Dotty Duck as responsible for the personal information. The personal information you provide will be used to ensure deliveries to you, the credit assessment, to provide offers and information on our catalog to you. The information you provide is only available to One Dotty Duck and Tictail and will not be shared with other third parties. You have the right to inspect the information held about you. You always have the right to request One Dotty Duck to delete or correct the information held about you. By accepting the One Dotty Duck Conditions, you agree to the above.

Force Majeure
Events outside One Dotty Duck's control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that One Dotty Duck is released from One Dotty Duck's obligations to fulfil contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.

Personalised Items
It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to ensure that you provide us with the correct detail and spelling for personalised items. Once your item has been made, it cannot be rectified without additional costs being incurred. We hold no responsibility if you do not provide us with accurate information. 

Allergies
One Dotty Duck will not be held responsible for any allergies caused by the materials used in their products. If in any doubt, please contact us to query. It is your, the customer's, responsibility to ensure safe and appropriate wear. 
 
Payment
All products remain One Dotty Duck's property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognised before confirming the purchase. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents' permission to buy from One Dotty Duck.

All transfers conducted through One Dotty Duck are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway choosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.

Postage
Your order will be posted to you, within the UK, by 1st class Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Please contact us before placing your order if you would like an alternative method of delivery, this may incur additional charges on your behalf. Exclusions may apply.  

Postage is a flat rate. Therefore your postage will not exceed £2.50 no matter how many items you purchase at any one time. 

We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the post. Recorded delivery is not a trackable service. We are able to confirm that the item has been delivered and signed for and view the signature of the person who took receipt. We cannot track your item before it reaches its destination. If you require a trackable service please contact us directly to discuss your requirements before placing your order. 

We cannot be held responsible for items that are delayed in the post. 1st Class Recorded Delivery postage is not a guaranteed next day service. Royal Mail advise that delivery can take up to 15 days. If you require next day delivery or delivery by a specific date, please contact us directly before placing your order. 

Shipping abroad: we will ship outside of the U.K. Postage costs are dependent on your location and requirements and this will not be a trackable service. If you require a tracked or signed for postage option please ask prior to payment and your postage costs will increase signficantly. 

Postal Address
It is your, the customers, responsibility to ensure that we hold the correct address for posting. If paying via paypal, please ensure that your address as per your Paypal account is correct. We accept no responsibility if you do not supply us with the correct postal address at the time of ordering. 

We will only post to the address as per your Paypal account or address supplied during check-out. Your order may be refused and refunded if the name and address supplied at Paypal or check-out is different to the name and address requested for posting, unless discussed and agreed prior to placing your order.

Where free postage applies, your item will qualify for 1st class recorded postage only. If you require another postage method, the difference in cost will apply and it will be necessary to contact us to make this request. 

Cancellation Policy
You do not have the right to cancel if your goods are made to the customers specifications or are personalised. You may not cancel your order if we have commenced work on your order therefore we urge you to contact us as soon as possible should you wish to cancel your order and in any event, within 24 hours and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request. 

We reserve the right to refuse to cancel your order and refuse to refund partial or full payment if work has commenced on your order. 

Non-personlised items are subject to a 7 day cooling off period (please see Returns Policy)

Local Taxes
Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.

Website/Social Media Information
We endeavour to ensure that all details on our website and social media outlets are accurate and up to date, however we do not guarantee this and reserve the right to refuse your order if the item you have ordered or parts of, are no longer available. 

Access to website or social media outlets may be suspended temporarily without notice.

Additional Information
One Dotty Duck reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product offerings without prior notice. At the event of when a product is sold out, One Dotty Duck has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best way. One Dotty Duck shall also notify the customer of equivalent replacement products if available. 

All items are handmade and therefore may vary slightly from the photographs shown. On occasion, an item may have slight imperfections or irregularities which are not considered a flaw, and in fact add to the appeal of handmade items and no two items will be the same. All sizes are approximate for this reason.

All of the images on our Facebook page and website are the property of One Dotty Duck. Genuine items that have been made by One Dotty Duck and photographed as such for the sole use of One Dotty Duck. As is any written content. Any misuse of images or content owned by One Dotty Duck will be taken seriously.
